1. The 3 green LED DS1, DS2 and DS3 are to reflect the environmental disturbance. When DS1 is twinkling but DS2 and DS3 without light, it means that the environment is acting certain disturbance, the equipment can be used normally, but the test rate may reduce 30% at the most; if DS1 is lighting continuously, no matter DS2 and DS3 are in what status, it means that the installation place is seriously disturbed, it needs to find the origin of disturbance and eliminate it, or change the installation place or installation scenario, etc.
2. Adjust the VR4 clockwise can improve the sensitivity of test, now the green LED DS1, DS2, DS3 may twinkle; static adjustment can meet the required sensitivity of tag inspection, if all green LED DS1, DS2 and DS3 not twinkling (lighting), it means that it is in best status.
3. Modulation frequency self-adapting
If modulation frequency on the emission board has been changed (stagger frequency), R3200 receiver does not need adjustment.
4. Sound/light alarm device
If JP2 setting is 1&2 (factory setting), sound and light alarms will act at the same time and last for 2 seconds; if JP2 setting is 2&3, sound and light alarms will act at the same time and last for 2 seconds, then the sound alarm stops, but light alarm continues to twinkle for 3 seconds.
5. Installation distance and label collocation
If installation distance is 1-1.2 M, both soft label and hard label can be used; JP1 setting on 1&2 connection.
If installation distance is
1.2-1.6 M, it is suggested to use hard label only; JP1 setting on 2&3.

TP1 point—Radio frequency (RF) receiving amplitude
If the installation distance is <1.2 M, JP1 setting on 1&2 (automatic status), TP1 point radio frequency receiving amplitude is 500±50mVp—p.
If the installation distance is >1.2M and <1.6M, JP1 setting on 2&3 connection (manual status), TP1 point radio frequency receiving amplitude is 300±50mVp—p; the installation requirements can be met by adjusting VR2.
B. TP4 point—the amplitude of static noise (A) is 400±50 mVp—p; adjust VR4 can meet the requirement.
C. TP5 point—the amplitude of static noise (B) is 100±10 mVp—p

二. Setting and debugging of transmitter
1、There are 4 routes of modulation signals of 150, 160, 170, 180Hz on the panel of transmitter, which can be selected for using, especially when EAS equipment multi-point installation is difficult for online connection, so as to avoid the interference between EAS equipment. The 180Hz modulation signal has the priority for selection. If to change the modulation signal on the panel of transmitter, it needs to regulate the frequency sweep range at the same time, its method is as following item.
2、 Frequency sweep range
Put EAS tester vertically on the top of transmitter case, press EAS tester power switch, adjust R14 to let△f of EAS: displaying 1000±50KHz. If no EAS tester, use oscillograph for adjustment, firstly disconnects the P5 terminal antenna on transmitter panel, set the JP1 on 1&2. Connect the probe of oscillograph to the transmitter TP4, earthing to TP2, adjust the potentiometer R14, making the level at TP4 point is 0.7Vp-p sine wave, then re-connect the P5 terminal antenna properly, set JP1 on 2&3.
3、Radio frequency output amplitude: adjustment of radio frequency output amplitude relates to the testing gate distance. Connect the probe of oscillograph to TP7, earthing to TP8. Adjust R23 can change the amplitude of radio frequency output, and TP7 point is the sine wave of 40-70 Vp-p.
4)、Center frequency adjustment:Connect the probe of frequency recorder to TP6, earthing to TP8. Adjust R15 potentiometer to
8.2±0.05MHz.
三、Operating several transmitter without online connection (stagger frequency)
If there are 2 sets (or more) of testers being used on a same field, and their online connection is difficult, by changing the transmitter’s modulation frequency 150, 160, 170 and 180Hz, to let each transmitter have different modulation frequency, so as to avoid interference with each other.
For detailed application, it needs to consider the real situation on the field, and keep following principles:
1)
If there are 2 sets (or more) of testers being used without online connection, the distance between them shall be greater than 10M.
2)
Use online connection as soon as it is possible.
