OF-530系列手持式光源采用激光器（或LED）作为发光器件，具有输出功率大、输出功率和波长稳定性好等优点，同时其内置的调制功能可以提供不同频率的脉冲光。它综合了国内外同类产品的优点，可根据用户要求提供1到4个波长的稳定输出，既可以提供650nm可见红光，也可以向单模光纤测量提供1310nm和1550nm的双波长激光输出，或者向多模光纤测量提供850nm和1300nm双波长激光输出，是光纤工程的理想测试仪表。
