一、过滤精度
首先,根据液压系统的需要确定用渍的清洁度等级,再根据此清洁度等级按符表选择滤油器的过滤精度。工程机械上最常用的液压油滤芯名义过滤清度为10μm。

由于名义过滤精度不能真实地反映滤芯的过滤能力,因此,常以在规定的试验条件下滤清器可以通过的最大硬质球形颗粒的直径作为其绝对过滤精度,用以直接反映新装滤芯初期的过滤能力。
评定液压油滤芯的最主要准则是按ISO4527-1981E(多通试验)测定的β值,即让混入标准试验粉末的油多次循环通过滤油器,其进油口和出油口两侧的粒子数之比。
二、滤芯强度
应按ISO2941-83标准进行破裂-抗冲击试验。滤芯损坏时急剧下降的压力差应大于规定值。
三、流动疲劳特性
应按ISO3724—90标准进行10万次循环的疲劳试验。
四、流量特性
滤芯通过油液的流量与压力降是流量特性的重要参数,应按ISO3968—91标准进行流量特性试验,以绘制流量-压力降特性曲线图。在额定供油压力下,总压降(滤壳压降与滤芯压降之和)一般应在0.2MPa以下。
五、对液压油试应性的试验
应按ISO2943-83标准进行压力流承受力的试验,以验证滤材对液压油的相容性。
