棕刚玉的生产过程和原料介绍：

宏达厂生产的棕刚玉含量大于96%以上，棕刚玉是用铝矾土、焦炭（或无烟煤）、铁屑三种原料在2000度以上的电炉中经过融化还原而制得的棕褐色人造刚玉，故为此名。棕刚玉主要化学成份是AL2O3，其含量在94.5%-97%，另含有少量的Fe，Si，Ti等。经自磨机粉碎整形，磁选去铁，筛分成多种粒度，其质地致密、硬度高，粒度形成球状，颗粒状适用于制造陶瓷、晶体磨具以及研磨、抛光、喷砂、精密铸造等，还可用于制造高级耐火材料。棕刚玉的等级棕刚玉主要成分是氧化铝，分等级也就用铝含量来区分，铝含量越低也就硬度越低了。

棕刚玉的颜色：棕刚玉是呈棕褐色的，其中三级棕刚玉就是俗称的黑刚玉颜色呈暗黑色。棕刚玉用途：棕刚玉用途棕刚玉磨料主要用于喷砂磨料磨具，高标准的耐磨地坪，水过滤等。喷砂磨料适用范围:工件材质，喷砂目的工艺要求不锈钢，表面去污、除焊渣及亚光效果。铁质工件，去锈、除污、除氧化皮，增大镀层、涂层附着力。铝质工件，去氧化皮，表面强化、光饰作用。铜质工件，去氧化皮亚光效果。玻璃制品水晶磨砂、刻图案。塑胶制品(硬木制品)亚光效果。牛仔布等特殊面料、毛绒加工及效果图案表面去绣、去油、去毛刺、去杂质、去氧化皮、增加摩擦度、去除残余应力、提高机械性能等等

　　棕刚玉具有纯度高，结晶好，流动性强，线膨胀系数低，耐腐蚀的特点。经数十家耐火生产企业实践验证，该产品在应用过程中具有不起爆、不粉化、不开裂的特点。尤其是其远高于传统棕刚玉的性价比，更使之成为棕刚玉质耐火材料的最佳骨料和填充料。
　　产品粒度按国际标准以及各国标准生产，可按用户要求粒度进行加工。通用粒度号为 F4~F320，其化学成份视粒度大小而不同。突出的特点是晶体尺寸小耐冲击，因用自磨机 加工破碎，颗粒多为球状颗粒，锐石牌棕刚玉具有纯度高，质地致密，堆积密度大，自锐性强，韧性好，磁性物含量特低的特点，用其制成的磨具磨削锋利，发热率低，磨削比高，且使用时沾附少；制成的烧结磨具具有烧成后颜色深蓝、不起网状裂纹、无锈斑的特点，适用于制造陶瓷、树脂高固结磨具以及研磨、抛光等。
棕刚玉因其硬度高，韧性好，多用为磨削材料，是最基本的磨料之一。

其主要功能如下
　　（1）由于有耐高温、耐腐蚀、高强度等性能，故用浇钢滑动水口，治炼稀贵金属、特种合金、陶瓷、炼铁高炉的内衬（墙和管）；理化器皿、火花塞、耐热抗氧化涂层。
　　（2）由于有硬度大、耐磨性好、强度高的特点，在化工系统中，用做各种反应器皿和管道，化工泵的部件；做机械零部件、各种模具，如拔丝模、挤铅笔芯模嘴等；做刀具、模具磨料、防弹材料、人体关节、密封模环等。
　　（3）刚玉保温材料，如刚玉轻质砖、刚玉空心球和纤维制品，广泛应用于各种高温炉窑的炉墙和炉顶，既耐高温又保温。棕刚玉粒度砂是由人工精选棕刚玉块,采用对辊、球磨、巴马克等设备加工而成，粒度由F8-F325.主要用于抛光、研磨、工业磨削等，还可以按客户要求进行水洗、酸洗处理等方法加工，能够满足客户的不同需求。
　　低碳棕刚玉经过炉前和特殊工艺的再处理，降低棕刚玉中残余碳的含量，使产品在使用中不粉化、不爆裂、韧性大是磨料磨具行业，耐火材料行业的首选原料。主要用于陶瓷磨具、高档磨具、有机磨具、砂带、涂附磨具等，
　　根据残碳含量分为：煅烧棕刚玉C ≤0.05%、低碳棕刚玉C ≤0.10%、普通棕刚玉C ≤0.15%。

棕刚玉磨料以铝矾土为主要原料经高温熔炼而成。呈棕褐色，硬度高、韧性大。用其制造的磨具，适用于碳素钢、可锻铸铁、硬青铜等的磨削。此外在耐火材料、化工添加剂、精密铸造及防滑材料等方面也有广泛应用。
