inception more than 40 years ago, Electra Mining Africa has grown far in excess
of its embryonic beginnings and offers an exciting marketing platform
delivering significant ROI, together with co-located shows Elenex Africa Machine
Tools Africa and Transport Expo.

A highly successful
trade exhibition, Electra Mining Africa 2010 generated a significant number of
sales off the floor, valuable sales leads and excellent business connections.
Over 35,000 local and international visitors with strong influence and buying
power met with the 739 globally represented exhibitors across 33,000m2 of floor space and
outside display areas.

In 2010, 40% of
visitors pre-registered online - the result of a growing trend towards online
pre-registration and a response to the strong marketing drive and promotional
campaigns that are in place prior to the start of the shows. Business
Matchmaking, an initiative launched at the 2008 show, is also gaining in
popularity and attracting much attention for the benefits it delivers. It
provides a sophisticated meeting service that matches the needs of visitors and
