HFE-7200是一种无色澄清，无色无味的液体物质，其中甲氧基-九氟代丁烷（C4F9OCH3）含量为99.5％，非挥发组分小于2.0pmm，专门用以替代氟利昂等“臭氧层破坏性”物质。该产品在新型的的氟氯化碳取代物产品家族中毒性最低，以8小时平均工作时间计，它的时间加权平均限制浓度200ppm。主要应用于精密电子仪器、医疗设备的清洗保清洗剂、溶剂，用于取代CFC-113、三氯乙烷、四氯化碳等。
●特点：无色、无味、无毒、不燃烧，ODP值为零；表面张力低、黏度小、蒸发潜热小。
●用途：特殊用途的溶剂、清洗剂、漂洗剂、无水流体、去焊剂和热传递介质，主要用于电子仪表和激光盘片的清洗，颗粒杂物的去除，光学系统及精密场合下清洗。
●优点：由于性能最接近CFCs，可使用原有清洗设备，不需要增加设备投资，也不需要对工艺做大的改变。绝对环保，安全！

  (英文)3M Novec 7200 Engineered Fluid, ethoxy-nonafluorobutane (C4F9OC2H5), is a clear, color? less and low-odor fluid intended to replace ozone-depleting substances (ODSs), compounds with high global warming potential (GWP) and chlorinated materials in many applications. Its physical properties are compared with several other ODS replacement fluid candidates in Tables 1 and 2. 
  
  This proprietary fluid has zero ozone depletion potential and other favorable environmental properties (see Table 2). It is low in toxicity, with a time-weighted average exposure guideline of 200 ppm (eight hour average).
Novec 7200 fluid has a higher boiling point than most CFCs, HCFCs and HFCs, reducing evaporative losses. The low surface tension and low viscosity of Novec 7200 fluid make it ideal for use in vapor degreasing and cold cleaning applications. In addition, its chemical and thermal stability, nonflammability and low toxicity make it useful for other industrial applications such as specialty solvent and heat transfer applications (see below).
