This chapter describes the features and functions of TBCOM PSE series remote power supply equipments.
1.1 Features and functionskingwee PSE series remote line power supply is a remote power supply specially designed and developed by Shenzhen kingwee Communication Technology Co., Ltd. This power supply is for indoor use and can work normally within the input voltage of 165VAC – 280VAC. It is connected with the network equipment (such as LAD or WLAN) through category 5 cable.
kingwee PSE series remote line power supply has the following performance:
(1) The power supply has such functions as input over/under-voltage protection, output over-voltage protection, overheating protection and over-current and short circuit protection for each output.
(2) System reliability: MTBF>100k hours.
(3) Conducted emission (CE) and radiated emission (RE) conform to EN55022 and CLASS B standards.
(4) Lightning protection feature: AC input end is able to bear 5KA and 8/20uS striking current waveform. Five times for positive pole and negative pole respectively with an interval of one minute each time; power lightning protection circuit has fault alarm function and is equipped with safety protection elements such as protective tube.
(5) Noise:<38dB

Light of network port instruction:
When the PWR light is on, it means the power supply is working under normal conditions.
When the port light is on, it means the power is supplied under normal conditions. If the indicator light goes out after several seconds, it means the equipment is under over-voltage protection or short circuit occurs.

This chapter mainly introduces the common operation for installation and commissioning of TBCOM PSE series remote line power supply.
3.1 Open-case inspection1. Open case to see whether all the accessories have been included. They are:
User’s manual (one).
Input power cord (one).
2. Inspect the main body to see if there is any damage, deformation and rust.
If you find that the type and number of the equipment parts are not in line with what is described, or equipment damage occurs during transportation, contact our company immediately to take effective measures.
3.2 Installation(1) Insert the input power cord to the dc input socket of 220VAC.
(2) Connect with output signal line respectively (see figure 2-4).
(3) Ensure the incoming line, signal line and output line are securely connected to the equipment to avoid poor contact or loose.
iNotices:
u Notice 1: The place where the remote power supply is installed should be far away from heat producer and electromagnetic interference source, and free from corrosive gas and metal dirt.
u Notice 2: The heat dissipation hole should not be clogged.
u Notice 3: The equipment should be laid in a stable place without strenuous vibration during installation.
u Notice 4: Keep an eye on the range of ac input voltage to ensure it is between165VAC and 280VAC.
u Notice 5: Prevent collision and friction with other equipments during installation to avoid surface’s local damage.
3.3 Startup test(1) Use a multimeter to test the ac input voltage to avoid short circuit; After loading, if the indicator light of the output interface is green, it means the equipment is working under normal conditions; if the light goes out after several seconds, it means short circuit or current limitation occur.
(2) The light on the front panel will be on after the ac power is connected.

4.1 Daily maintenance and carekingwee PSE series remote line power supply can work constantly. In order to ensure the reliability of power supply, daily maintenance should be carried out properly to ensure the power supply system works under optimum state.
(1) Clean the power supply system regularly to avoid dirt retention.
(2) Inspect the input line and output line to see if any loose or poor contact occurs. Replace the line immediately if any damage is found.
