GENERAL APPLICATIONS
Xylene is a good solvent for fats,waxs,pitches and many natural & synthetic resins。Xylene is also used as a solvent and diluent in paints，enamels，lacquers and varnishes。It is also employed in printing inks and adhesives，and is a most important solvent for insecticide formulations。It is also used as an intermediate for chemical synthesis。

二甲苯用途脂肪、蜡、沥青及各天然与人工合成树脂之溶剂。也为油漆、清漆及亮漆制造用之溶剂和稀释剂。也用于油墨及粘合剂制造业，也是杀虫药制剂最常用之溶剂。也是化工合成用之中间体。
