FN系列缝焊机是接触焊接的一种基本方式,由部分工件前后重叠的许多焊点形成连续缝焊。两个焊件以搭接的装配方式压紧在两个电极—焊轮之间,当焊件压紧后接通电源,转动焊轮带动工件进行焊接,焊接电流可以是连续焊接或者是断续脉冲焊接。脉冲断续焊接能保证接件有较高的焊接质量,但需配备缝焊接控制器来进行控制。
次级整流式缝焊机在变压器次级上用组合式整流器进行全波整流,将交流电变成直流电,对焊件进行焊接。由于在次级回路中感抗很小,提高了功率因数,在焊接同等材料时,与交流比较,所需输入容量小,为重点推广的节能产品之一。该焊机除焊接一般钢材外,还可以焊接不锈钢、铝、钛和镀层钢板等。
