BARRIERTA® L 25 DL
Special lubricating grease for different materials
used in precision engineering
Description:
BARRIERTA L 25 DL is a synthetic
special lubricating grease based on
a perfluorinated polyether oil and
PTFE.
BARRIERTA L 25 DL is resistant
to both aromatic and aliphatic
hydrocarbons, gaseous as well as
liquid, but not to fluorinated hydrocarbon
solvents. It is neutral to
most plastics. BARRIERTA L 25 DL
also has good resistance to water.
Application:
BARRIERTA L 25 DL is a special
lubricating grease for the lubrication
of plastic/plastic sliding material
combinations, especially those of
polycarbonate and polystyrene,
where a change in the material or
stress cracking tends to occur
with commonly used mineral or
synthetic lubricants. Compatibility
of BARRIERTA L 25 DL with the
plastic to be used should be
checked prior to series application.
BARRIERTA L 25 DL may also
be used for lubricating rolling and
sliding bearings as well as slideways.
It has proven to be successful
in the following applications:
– cameras
– projectors
– general applications in the
optical industry
– precision engineering
– special appliance industry Application notes:
Prior to the first application, clean all
friction points with white spirit
180/210 and then with Klüberalfa XZ
3-1. Afterwards blow the friction
points carefully with clean, dry compressed
air or hot air in order to
remove all white spirit residues.
The application point has to be
bright, free of oil, grease, traces of
perspiration and contaminating
particles.
We recommend contacting our
application engineers to ensure
