Impregnating fluid for sintered metal plain bearings Description
CONSTANT GL 2000 is a lubricant
for low-noise sintered metal plain
bearings subject to very low or high
speeds (e.g. < 0.3 m/s and > 5 m/s)
and loads (e.g. < 0.15 N/mm² and >
3 N/mm²). Due to the special product
formulation and additives it covers a
wide range of applications and offers
good corrosion protection. CONSTANT
GL 2000 can also be used
for the lifetime lubrication of sintered
metal plain bearings subject to stopand-
go operation. Application
CONSTANT GL 2000 is intended for
use in sintered metal plain bearings
in precision engineering, electrical
engineering and household appliances. Application notes
CONSTANT GL 2000 is applied in a
vacuum immersion process to fill the
pores of sintered metal plain bearings.
The fluid should undergo very
fine filtering. To extend the service
life of the bearings, an additional
lubricant, MIKROZELLA G 8 OY N,
can be applied around the bearing
by means of conventional fully
automatic metering systems
Prior to series application we
recommend checking if the metering
system to be used is suitable for
MIKROZELLA G 8 OY N. Minimum shelf life
The minimum shelf life is approx. 12
months if the product is stored in its
unopened original container in a dry,
frost-free place. Pack size
