以下是电子天平操作方法：
4．1．1检查水平仪内空气气泡是否位于圆环中央，如果不是则需调整地脚螺栓高度使空气气泡处于圆环中央，如是则可开机进行下一步操作。
4．1．2开机：接通仪器电源，按ON/OFF键天平自检完后进入待机状态。
4．1．3设定参数（需要时设定）：以“环境很不稳定”代码1．1．4为例
4．1．3．1开机接通电子天平在屏幕全显示时按住TARE键，直至屏幕显示第一菜单层次“1”，通过多次按CAL键，可在第一菜单层次中选择功能代码“1～9”。
4．1．3．2按下PTINT键选择第二菜单层次例如“1．1”，也可通过多次按CAL键选择同一菜单中其它功能代码。
4．1．3．3再按下PTINT键选择第三菜单层次，例如“1．1．1”再通过多次按CAL键在第三菜单层次中选择其它功能代码直至“1．1．4”，按下TARE键2秒以上以确认参数的更改并保存结果同时返回到上级菜单层。
4．1．3．4用PTINT与CAL键可对其它参数进行相应的设定。
4．1．3．5按下TARE键存储设定参数并退出菜单，则屏幕显示“8888888”；或按下ON/OFF键不存储调整参数而退出，屏幕显示“0.0000g”。
4．1．4调整校正（以100.0000g为例）
4．1．4．1当天平需调整校正时，天平必须处于：天平无负荷、天平已除皮、内部称量信号稳定时，才可开始调整校正过程，否则仪器将会出现错误代码。
4．1．4．2 在待机状态下，按TARE键，将天平除皮，则屏幕显示“0.0000g”。
4．1．4．3再按CAL键，调校过程开始，屏幕显示“+100.0000g”。
4．1．4．4依提示放置所显示的砝码，仪器自动调校。调校完成后取下砝码屏幕显示“0.0000g”，之后仪器可直接使用或关闭以备后用。
4．1．5基本称量（以100.0000g为例）
4．1．5．1在待机状态下，将被称量物的容器放入到天平上（以52.0000g为例），屏幕显示“+52.0000g”。
4．1．5．2按下TARE键将天平除皮，屏幕显示“0.0000g”。
4．1．5．3将被称量物放入容器中，则屏幕显示“+100.0000g”，即此称量物重为100.0000g。将称量物和容器都取下，天平除皮后，即可按ON/OFF键关闭天平。
4．1．6净重——总和
4．1．6．1在待机状态下，将装称量物的空容器放置于天平上，屏幕即会显示其容器重量，例“+65.0000g”，按下TARE键除皮。
4．1．6．2在容器中放入需称量的第一组分，屏幕即会显示第一部分重量，例“+120.5000g”。
4．1．6．3按下F键，将第一组分的重量存入，屏幕显示“0.0000g”。
4．1．6．4再向容器放入需称量的第二组分，屏幕即会显示第二组分重量，例“+70.5000g”。
4．1．6．5按下F键，将第二组分的重量存入，屏幕显示“0.0000g”。
4．1．6．6如有必要继续加组分，可重复4．1．6．2～4．1．6．3步骤，直至所需称量物均已称重，按下CF键，显示总和重量“+191.0000g”。将称量物和容器都取下，天平除皮后，即可按ON/OFF键关闭天平。
4．2维护与保养。
4．2．1每次使用完毕，应用软布擦拭天平必要时用无水乙醇擦净，以保护天平的清洁。
4．2．2 天平内应放置干燥剂，并及时更换。
4．2．3 称量重量不得超过天平的最大载荷。
4．2．4称量具有腐蚀性物品时，必须使用容器称量。
4．2．5在称量过程中避免有剧烈的振动发生，且不可将天平放于空气直接流通之处，以免影响称量结果。
4．2．6天平不可放置在阳光直射处以免过热，同时也要避免过分潮湿。
4．2．7 分析天平应按计量部门规定定期检定，并有专人保管，负责维护保养。
