阿曼卡亚与卡罗两款酒都是将阿根廷与波尔多两处风格融合的代表作。高比例的马尔贝克以及时间相对较短的陈放令阿曼卡亚的果味更为突出。酒的名字Amancaya为印第安语,这是一种生长在高纬度的安第斯山上的美丽花朵。春天开花时节,当地印第安女子会采来装饰头发。因卡罗酒庄最早的葡萄园就位于安第斯山脚下,酒取之为名以志纪念。
