拉菲传说波尔多红使用传统葡萄品种卡本妮苏维翁、梅洛、卡本妮佛郎克红余小维戈酿造。总体来说，各年份都是以卡本妮苏维翁占最高比例。酿造技术与陈放方法与葡萄品种相适宜，令葡萄特性得到充分发展，酒体圆润，结构复杂，是一款具有明显“家族风格”的美酒。
