S11系列卷铁芯节能电力变压器铁芯采用优质冷轧硅钢片，在专用卷绕设备上绕制成型，经真空充氮退火处理后，用半干无纬粘带绑扎，结构采用三相三柱式结构。线圈用专用绕线设备将高低压绕组直接绕制在铁芯上，其结构采用多层圆筒式，油道采用瓦楞油道，引出线用无纬带绑扎。器身绝缘采用特殊结构代替传统的绝缘端圈结构，并利用钢板折成槽形扣在上下铁轭上；器身定位采用油箱上下定位结构，经长途运输后，不需吊芯，即可投运。S11系列卷铁芯节能电力变压器由于采用硅钢片连续绕制，去掉了柱，轭间的磁接缝，可使噪音降低5～10dB，达到静音状态，并大大减少了磁阻，与S9系列变压器相比，空损耗平均降低20%左右，负载损耗平均降低65%左右。
