Sugar dissolving lubricants free of mineral oil with
lubricating and sliding properties for the food industry

Description
Klüberfluid UH1 6-180 (concentrate)
and Klüberfluid UH1 6-10 (ready to
use) are stable aqueous solutions of
special synthetic fluids with lubricating
and sliding properties for
applications in the food processing
industry, especially in the confectionary
industry.
Both products are free of mineral oil
base hydrocarbons, animal fats or
milk products. They rapidly dissolve
sugar crusts and reduce wear.
Their good separating capacity also
stands out in cases where a deep
drawing lubricant is called for which
complies with food regulations for
the process of forming Al bottle caps.
The products comply with the regulations
set forth by the US Food and
Drug Administration (FDA) in Sec.
21 CFR 178.3570, and they are
registered by the US Department of
Agriculture in accordance with
USDA-H1.
Application
● Especially suitable for lubrication
points in an environment affected
by sugar, e.g. rocking levers,
chain joints, tracing pins, spindles,
lifting devices, tongs and running
surfaces in tablet compressing
machines, packing machines, tin
foiling machines and wrapping
machines.
● Also suitable as a deep drawing
lubricant complying with food
regulations for the forming of
aluminium bottle caps for the
beverage and pharmaceutical
industries.
Application notes
Klüberfluid UH1 6-180 is a
concentrate which is easily misciblewith water without any technical
efforts – stirring is enough.
When using the product as a sugar
dissolving oil we recommend a
mixing ratio of 1:1.
Depending on the application,
mixing ratios with a higher content
of water are possible.
Klüberfluid UH1 6-10 is a ready-touse
product.
Both products can be applied to the
lubrication point by brush, metering
can, etc.
When using the products as a deepdrawing
lubricant, the end user is
responsible for finding the required
ratio of mixture with water. We
generally recommend a ratio of 1:5
when using the concentrate together
with water.
Minimum shelf life
The minimum shelf life is approx 12
months if the product is stored in the
original closed container in a dry
place.
