Klüberalfa XZ 3-2
Dispersing, separating and anti-corrosion agent
Description:
Klüberalfa XZ 3-2 is a dispersing
and separating agent with a high
evaporation rate for high-temperature
lubricants based on PFPE.
The product can also be used
for corrosion protection. Application:
Klüberalfa XZ 3-2 was especially
designed for rolling bearings, e.g.
in load, turn and guide rollers of
conveyors and kiln carts. It offers
good corrosion protection during
intermediate storage and/or prior to
bearing lubrication. The product can
also be used as a separating agent
before applying a dry lubricant (e.g.
Klüberdur KM 03-901) in rolling
bearings. Application notes:
Prior to application the friction points
have to be bright and free from
contaminating particles, such as
dust, oil, grease, anticorrosion
agents etc. We recommend
cleaning in an ultrasonic bath, e.g.
with white spirit 180/210. Afterwards
immerse the rolling bearings in
Klüberalfa XZ 3-2 in a horizontal
position and let them dry for at least
5 minutes at room temperature. A
whitish film will form on the rolling
bearings. Evaporation losses can be avoided
by tightly closing the containers or
dip tanks after application. According to our experience,
Klüberalfa XZ 3-2 is compatible with
commercial elastomer types, such
as NBR, CR, NR, VMQ, SBR and
EPDM. We recommend checking
compatibility in the case of FKM
and prior to series application. When applying Klüberalfa
XZ 3-2 in context with Klüberdur
KM 03-901 please contact our
application engineering department
and observe the EC safety data
sheet particularly if application
temperatures exceed 200 °C. Minimum shelf life:
The minimum shelf life is 60 months
if the product is stored in the original
closed container in a dry place. Stir
or shake well before use. Pack sizes:
