Chemetall Ryconox 20M is a high flash, water displacing rust preventive. It is designed to provide long term, indoor rust protection for ferrous and non-ferrous parts. Due to its water displacing properties, it can be applied to parts while they are still wet, eliminating hot rinses or drying operations. Ryconox 20M is used for inhibiting corrosion and rust on parts between operations or on finished parts during storage or shipment. When parts are immersed in a full strength concentration of Ryconox 20M, it imparts a thin, slightly oily, barium-free film which bonds to the metal surface. It also prevents fingertip etching during handling. This film can easily be removed with alkaline detergents.
