The PT2210 is a monolithic current mode PWMcontroller for AC-DC applications.The deviceintegrates a power switch and controlling circuitsproviding low sandby power and cost effectivesolution for the AC-DC converter applications.The PT22 10 operates at fixed 65KHz. Under no load orlight load conditions, switching frquency is reduced tominimize switching loss. Low standby power and highefficiency is thus achieved. The built in LEB on the .curent sense input removes the signal glitches duc tosmubber circuit diode reverse recovery and thus reducesthe external component count and thus the system costin the design.A complete set protection is implemented in thePT2210 including cycle-by-cycle current limiting(OCP), over load protection (OLP), VDD over voltageand under voltage lockout (UVLO). The PT2210 alsofeatures latched shut down including programmableOTP and programmable OVP prolection, By limitingthe minimum frequency above 22 kHz, the PT2210based system eliminates the potential audible noisewhen the system works under light or no loadconditions.Excellent EMI performance is achieved with PowTechproprietary frequency Jittering techniqueThe PT2210 is available in a DIP-8 package. 特点
