General
Office designers are constantly stressing the n
eed for flexible HVAC systems. As building uses
may change frequently over time and the air conditioning system may constantly be modified and
adapted to accommodate new office layouts and
personnel changes. The costs of these changes
may be exorbitant for conventional systems.
Fan Power Terminal Unit (FPTU) system permits a “plug and play” design concept. FPTU system
provides the building owner with a flexible and modular approach to air distribution that
facilitates changes in the building layo
ut whilst keeping costs to a minimum.
Unlike conventional HVAC system designs in whic
h many inpiduals share common control, FPTU
system provides inpidual comfort for each area to improve inpidual comfort and air quality.Flexibility
The modular design concept ensures full flexibility to
allow the FPTU to be installed in a variety of
raised flooring systems. The wiring connecti
ons provide for simple and quick removal thus
limiting any disturbance to other occupants to a
minimum. It is easy to service and maintain.
Pressure Independent
The FPTU is pressure independen
t type. The built-in DDC controller
will in accordance with the
signals from the temperature sensor and the primary airflow-rate sensor, control the position of
the primary air inlet damper and proportion of the return air and primary air through the
modulation of the primary air inlet damper, in
order to match the room temperature set point.
Maintainability
The construction of the FPTU permits easy access to the controls enclosure and fan chamber for
maintenance purposes. The unique external rotor fan design ensures a neat and compact unit in
which electrical and control accessories are easily accessible from the top of the unit.
Benefits
The major benefits of FPTU system:
a.
reduce life-cycle building costs by improving fl
exibility in reconfiguring building services and
office layout;
b.
improve thermal comfort, occupant satisfaction and productivity by providing inpidual
comfort control;
c.
improve ventilation efficiency, indoor air qua
lity and health by deliv
ering fresh air in the
vicinity of building occupants;
d.
reduce energy use from thermal stratification and reduced static pressure;
e.
reduce floor to floor height in new construction.
Description
The FPTU is a purposely designed compact unit for
easy installation into a 600 x 600mm floor tile
system, where the floor void is used as the primary air plenum.
The primary air inlet, with inte
gral flow sensor, provides for a Pressure Independent Control.
Mounted within the return air passage is a temperature controller to control the damper blade
position to optimize the percentage of primar
y air required to meet space cooling demand
loading.
Floor grille design is available in many different
configurations to suit ae
sthetical requirement as
well as optimize the air diffusion requirement.具体资料请来电索取!
