Range of application:
KW 2620 is mostly used with cooling, usage and
wash waters for hardness stabilization and for corrosion
inhibition. KW 2620 prevents in a environmental
friendly way that scales and deposits are
formed in pipings, heat exchangers, washers, disintegrators,
we electro filters and other water-bearing
systems.
KW 2620 has excellent corrosion inhibiting, hardness
stabilizing and dispersing attributes.
KW 2620 prevents the formation of deposits in
cooling cycles and guarantees good heat transfers
in the plants even in case of longer standing times.
An optimal corrosion inhibition also occurs in case
of mix installations for cast iron, iron, steel, copper
and copper alloys. The formation of protection films
is done directly on the metal surfaces. The creation
of ventilation elements (under sludge corrosion) is
prevented.
KW 2620 is also suitable for high temperatures
above 35°C and for the treatment of very hard water
with total hardnesses up to 50°dH in case of pH
7 to pH 8,5 with maximum carbonate hardnesses of
18°dH.

Dosage:
KW 2620 can be dosed directly or out of a solution
diluted with water. The dosage is done properly
amount proportionally into the addition water. The
dosing plants have to be suitable for the dosing of
acids.
The dosing rate is dependent on many factors and
should be attuned with us. It generally lies between
40 and 60 g/m3.
Procedure control:
The procedure technical control ranges to the examination
of the technological effect regarding the
hardness stabilization and corrosion inhibition as
well as the analytic monitoring of the cooling water.
The monitoring of the hardness stabilization and of
the thickening is done through the analytic control
of the cooling water, like pH-value, total salt value,
total hardness, carbonate hardness, chloride- and
sulfate value.
The determination of the concentration of KW 2620
is done with a test kit. The analysis regulation is
available on demand.
Safety advice:
The usual precautions with chemicals have to be
considered when handling KW 2620.
