工业重质碳酸钾：（K2CO3）
相对分子量138.21，无色或白色六方形或斜方晶系结晶或颗粒状粉末。相对密度2.6682，熔点1069ºC，沸点1689ºC，易溶于水，其水溶液呈碱性。不溶于乙醇和丙酮和二硫化碳，具有苦咸味。有很强的吸湿性，易结块，长期与空气接触易吸收二氧化碳和成碳酸氢钾。
用途：碳酸钾是一种重要的无机基础化工原料，主要用于电视玻壳、化肥脱碳、电焊条、制药、双氧水、电影胶片、搪瓷、印染、钾玻璃等行业。（食品添加剂碳酸钾加入面制食品能有效改善食品口感和品质，同时也是生产山梨酸钾和甜味素等食品添加剂的原料。）

Potassium carbonate, relative molecular weight: 138.21 , is colorless or white sextant or rhombic crystal or granule powder.Relative density:2.6682,melting point: 1069ºC,boiling point: 1689ºC . It is easily dissolved in water; the aqueous solution
is in the state of alkalinity . It can not be dissolved in ethanol , acetone and carbon disulfide . It has the characteristics of hygroscopicity , and can be changed to clumps, which changes to potassium acid carbonate when it contacts carbon dioxide in the air.
Use:potassium carbonate is an important inorganic industrial chemical, which is mainly used in television glass shell, carbon removal of chemical fertilizer, electric welding rod, pharmacy, hydrogen dioxide, cine film, porcelain enamel, printing and dyeing, potassium and other fields.
