Storage and Handling
RFID antenna rolls should be handled with care. Be aware of sharp edges. Use appropriate machinery and safety equipment when handling the rolls. Do not wind the rolls too tight. All roll operating machinery should be grounded. Antistatic materials should be used in contact with web. Use electro static discharge systems. The RFID antenna rolls should be stored under the following conditions: temperature -40...+85 °C (-40...+185 °F), humidity 40 - 80 % RH. The recommended shelf life of a RFID antenna roll is 12 months.
Recycling
The RFID antennas should be disposed of in accordance with local authority
requirements.Recycling of aluminium is recommended. The material can be disposed as
landfill or by combustion (> 900 °C / 1652 °F).
Disclaimer
RFID tag manufacturers are advised to conduct their own independent research into inpidual antennas before making a purchase decision. The antennas should be tested thoroughly under the end-use conditions by the customer. The technical values in this data sheet are subject to change without prior notice.
