The STEALTH-WAND operates directly on30 to 70 psicompressed
air or nitrogen. The vacuum is normally ON. The compressed-air-powered tools
are our most powerful vacuum tweezer tools. The vacuum level can be controlled
by adjusting the input pressure. At 70 psi input the vacuum level is 20 InHg
with 4 lpm of free air flow, at 30 psi input the vacuum level is 10 InHg with 3
lpm of free air flow and at 10 psi input the vacuum level is 2 InHg with 1 lpm
of free air flow.This feature is importent for
handling thin wafers.
The normally open STEALTH-WAND kit includes:
6 feet of 1/16” coiled
air hose
A 1/8” NPT to 1/16” barb adapter for the supply line
The
vacuum generating vacuum pen.
A VMWT-B wafer tip
A VBM-4 wafer wand
holder
The Stealth-Vac vacuum pen contains a whisper quiet
venturi vacuum generator. With compressed air supplied at the rear of the tool,
the pickup tip has constant vacuum available.
To handle a part:
1. Attach a vacuum tweezer tip slightly smaller
than the part you need to handle.
2. Merely touch the vacuum tip squarely to the
wafer or solar cell. The part is now grasped.
3. Move the part to where you want it. Tap the
control button to release the part.
