T5LED灯管是室内LED照明的一个主要应用产品，它是呈直管形，和普通的荧光灯管类似，只不过它是背面采用铝合金散热，正面采用PC罩而非玻璃罩，T5LED灯管采用是低电压直流供电，不能直接接市电，所以它需要带一个电源，用一降压整流．然后才能接上市电。T5LED灯管采用最新的第四代光源，光源芯片可选 CREE、晶元、日亚、欧斯朗飞利蒲首尔半导体，节能环保，是未来照明的发展方向．
T5LED灯管发展已经过两个阶段，一个是采用直插式的LED灯珠，另外一种是采用高性能的SMD LED灯珠，两者在光效及生产工艺和散热方面都不同，SMD型的比直插式要好的多。
T5LED灯管分类一般它的长度来分，比如可分为0.6米，0.9米，1.2米，1.5米长等。不同的长度，功率会不一样，长度越长，采用的灯珠会越多，功率会越大．还有按管子的形状来分的，比如圆形管和椭圆管等．但按长度来分类已成行业标准．我公司的LED灯管，0.6米功率为10W，0.9米功率为14W，1.2米功率为18W，1.5米功率为22W。
