PCI-1612是一款兼容PCI2.1总线规格的4端口RS-232/422/485 PCI通信卡。PCI-1610/1612提供了4个可选浪涌保护RS-232端口(PCI-1610)、RS-232/422/485端口 (PCI-1612)以及一些其它功能，如921.6Kbps的高传输速率、4个独立RS-232/422/485端口，可选浪涌保护等等。PCI-1610/1612还使用了带有128字节FIFO缓冲的高性能16PCI954 UARTs芯片，大大减轻了CPU的负担。这些部件使您的系统更加稳定可靠。由于具有这些功能,PCI-1612非常适合在多任务环境中使用。
