玛蹄脂是采用沥青或改性环氧为基料,添以矿物填料,并加入适量的阻燃剂制成的防潮隔汽材料,即防水阻燃玛蹄脂。分为黑色玛蹄脂和白色玛蹄脂,具有气密性、防水性、防冻性、防腐性、不易老化开裂、常温下可以冷施工、干燥后具有阻燃性等特点。它是石油化工等行业中与泡沫玻璃、聚异氰脲酸酯及聚氨酯等绝热材料配套保冷、防火、防潮的理想保冷涂料。除此之外,玛蹄脂还被广泛应用于建筑领域的屋面防水、沟渠填缝等防水工程。
Flame-retardant mastic, also called vapor barrier mastic, is a kind of vapor barrier material, made of asphalt or epoxy resin, added with mineral and adequate flame retardant. It is pided into two kinds of white mastic and black mastic with following features: air-tightness, water impermeability, cold resistance, corrosion protection, and not easy to deteriorate or crack. It has flame retardant after dried and could be used under normal temperature. It is a kind of ideal coating material for cold conservation, fire proofing and moisture resistance together with insulation material, such as cellular glass, PIR-polyisocyanurate and PUR-polyurethane in petrochemical industry. In addition, mastic is widely used as waterproofing material in construction sector.

2、阻燃性:施工时无引火性,干燥后具有阻燃性,离开火源1秒钟自熄。
3、耐热性:在95℃温度下45度斜搁4小时,温度升到120℃45度斜搁1小时无流淌起泡现象。
4、吸水率:室温浸泡24小时,吸水量不大于试料重量的0.5%。
5、抗冻性:-40℃和+60℃各悬挂2小时无开裂、无脱离。
6、干燥时间:指干5小时,全干7天。

2. Fire Resistance: It causes no spark during construction, fire resistant after drying, and extinguishes in 1s after fire source taken away.
3. Heat Durability: There is no signs of flowing or foaming, after it is placed at the angle of 45o at the temperature of 95℃ for 4hrs, and then for another 1 hour at the temperature of 120℃.
4. Water Absorption: The water absorbed is less than 0.5% (by weight) after soaking for 24hrs at room temperature.
5. Freeze-thaw Resistance: No cracks or peeling off occur after suspended at -40℃ and +60℃ for 2hrs respectively.
6. Drying Time: It can be touched with fingers after 5hrs, while it costs 7 days to dry completely.
