Grinding and polishing machines

The  select ion of suitable grinding machines depends on the number of specimens processed daily.
Small quantities can be preground perfectly by hand. For larger sample volumes, automatic preparation is more economical.
With the SCAN-DIA polishing machines, practically all materials used in materialography may be perfectly polished, with the exception of materials with a lead content > 18 %.
The machines are all equipped with water inlet and outlet, and can thus be used for grinding and polishing. We can only mend combined grinding and polishing machines for very small sample volumes. For easier cleaning or cleanliness, 2 separate machines are more economical for medium-range and large sample volumes.
The machines are easy to operate, without complicated programming.

SCANDIMATIC Universal Series 33 and 37

The SCANDIMATIC Universal Series 33 and 37 are grinding and polishing machines for manual or automatic specimen preparation of materiolographic specimens.
The series 33 machines are suitable for the modation of carrier discs with Ø 200 mm and the series 37 machines for base discs with Ø 250 mm or Ø 300 mm.
The speed of polishing discs can be adjusted from 40 – 600 U/min.
