FK08B Densimeter is a versatile density measure instrument. The instrument was designed based on Archimedes' principle, which states that a body immersed in a fluid apparently loses weight by an amount equal to the weight of the fluid it displaces.Unlike general buoyancy method that weigh a sample immersed in liquid, the instrument determined the density of sample by measure the weight of needed liquid to fill a vessel the sample immersed in. If the density of liquid exactly known, the relative density of sample can be ease to calculate. Designed accordingly, the instrument can be applied to measure the density of solids, viscous and pasty substances, as well as liquids.
