LEXAN Visualfx resins:
The LEXAN Visualfx portfolio consists of
six major families of colors and special
effects, backed by a range of dedicated
services.
Using standard processing equipment,
LEXAN Visualfx materials provide parts
with a consistently high quality surface
finish straight from the mould.
Furthermore, in many cases the range
of special effects eliminates the need
for secondary operations, such as
painting, metallising or sublimation
printing, providing cost-effective product
differentiation.
As some of the aesthetic effects of
LEXAN resin will influence the properties
of the final material and moulding
behaviour may be affected, it is
recommended therefore that application
testing is carried out.

熔体温度
LEXAN 树脂的建议熔体温度列于表7-3。与大多数的热塑性模
塑材料一样,LEXAN对长时间加热敏感,应避免较长的滞留时
间和过高的熔体温度。螺杆转速(RPM)相对较小的增加,会
导致熔体温度的巨增,而控制设置点未发生变化。建议用手持
式高温计,来测量熔体温度。在机器开始循环后,应对热塑性
熔体进行这一测量。
在熔体温度范围的上限或附近加工时,注射重量通常应接近机
器料筒容量的60~80%。如果料筒温度超出建议的熔体温度范围
的上限,就会导致树脂热降解及其物理性能的丧失。
与其它工程热塑性塑料一样,LEXAN树脂不应长期留在高温环
境而不从来清洗。
