SACHTLEBEN R405 is alumina surface treated, hydrophobic titanium dioxide pigment with fast and excellent dispersibility in various plastics in dry processing as well as in normally used liquid plasticizers. As a result of its fine crystal and particle sizes SACHTLEBEN R405 belongs to the family of blue undertone plastics grades.

  SACHTLEBEN R405 is particularly recommended for systems where fineness of pigment dispersion in plastics is top priority: plasticized PVC, polyolefins, styrenics, engineering plastics and thermosets. It can also be used in rubber and linoleum.

  SACHTLEBEN R405 enables the manufacture of highly pigmented concentrates, e.g. 70% DOP dispersions and polyolefin masterbatches.
