Overview
The MB-ECP01AR /AT Ethernet over Coax EoC Transceiver is a compact media converter that allows 10/100 Base-T Ethernet and
power to be transmitted using a single 75-ohm coax cable . it allows any CCTV IP camera(24 Watts) to be connected over extended distance. The MB-ECP01AR supports IP cameras up to 1000 ft (300m) at 90 Mbps and up to 6560ft (2km) at 35Mbps in a point-to-point configuration .These devices are often used in legacy installations where existing cable is re-deployed as part of an upgrade to IP cameras. 48VDC class 2 power is delivered to one transceiver, which distributes it to remote cameras.
The product works in pairs and the power consumption is low enough. The maximum distance depends on the grade of coax cable and the power consumption of the camera .These transceivers are extremely simple to use, with no IP or MAC addressing required.
