打捞筒是打捞光滑外径落鱼强有力的工具。它是根据钻铤、钻杆、油管接头、接箍和其它井用管子的外径尺寸而设计的，这样就组成了抓捞落鱼外径的打捞工具专门系列。

该工具其系列功能完备，抓捞可靠，有密封结构，抓住落鱼后能进行高压泥浆循环，若抓住的落鱼被卡需要释放时是很容易退出的，还带有铣鞋能有效地修理鱼顶裂口飞边，便于落鱼顺利进入捞筒，如果需要，可连接加大引鞋，鱼顶偏倚井壁时可使用壁钩，抓捞部位距鱼顶太远可接加长短节。

结构：打捞筒的外笨由上接头、筒体、引鞋组成，同部装有抓捞卡瓦，盘根和铣鞋或控制卡。打捞卡瓦分为螺旋卡瓦和兰状卡瓦两类，每类又有几种尺寸的打捞卡瓦，进行打捞时，可选用一种适合落鱼外径的卡瓦装入筒体内。
