Description

Isophoronediamine is a colorless to yellow liquid with an amine-like odor. It is fully miscible in water and soluble in other solvents.

Safety

Isophoronediamine is corrosive to the skin and eyes and is a skin sensitizer. Ingestion may cause severe gastric disturbances. Inhalation of vapors or mists may irritate the respiratory tract.

Applications

Intermediate used in the production of:

Packaging

Available in 396 lb (net weight) nonre- turnable steel drums.

Storage & Handling

Isophoronediamine has an almost un- limited shelf life in unopened, original containers when properly stored in a protected storage area. It is flamma- ble and corrosive.
