General Purpose Set Silicone Sponge
COHRlastic® R-10470 Firm silicone sponge rubber is a generalpurpose
closed cell sponge that can be used in most gasketing
applications. This material is flexible and compressible and
designed for use in extreme temperature ranges, with excellent
weatherability, compression set resistance, electrical strength and
non-stick properties.
Application Advantages
• Capable of meeting AMS 3196 closed cell specification.
• Capable of meeting MIL-R-6130 Type II grade B & C,
MIL-R-46089, and Douglas DMS1597
• Standard colour is orange/tan. Black is available in specific
thicknesses.
• UL recognized JMST2 for use as weather seal gaskets in
lighting fixtures. Meets UL 1570, 1571 and 1572.
• Available with silicone or acrylic adhesive when so ordered.
