聚乙烯蜡为低分子量聚乙烯，其特点是软化点较高（100℃以上），接近于高分子量聚乙烯，而熔融粘度和硬度则接近于石蜡，作为润滑剂，其化学性质稳定，润滑效率高，电性能优良。
