鸡用饲料桶，是由：桶身、底盘、限食格（分隔栏）组成，料桶与圆形底盘之间有2--3厘米的间隙，从而使桶的饲料能够自动流入料盘。 
鸡用饲料桶，移动使用简单方便，便于清洗和消毒。 
与人工散扔饲料喂鸡相比，鸡用饲料桶，可以说是半自动化喂料器。 
可以在喂养普通土鸡，珍珠鸡，山鸡（野鸡），贵妃鸡时使用。
