D9000 reader provide RS232 communication interface for and control host (typically PC) connection
communication. RS232 interface data format for a 8 bits of data, a start bit and a stop bit, no parity bit;
Data rate optional 9600 19200 38400 57600 115200 and RS232 communication interface
support reader parameter configuration, demo and all serial communication secondary development
tool function
B.2 RS485：
D9000 reader also provide RS485 communication interface, RS485 can and PC serial port is linked
together, using RS232 - RS485 converter conversion, this way, the RS485 interface support RS232
supported by all functions. In addition RS485 is tag data output interface. In the use of RS485 interface
upload tag data, can choose three transmission mode:
Timing mode (active upload) : reader read Tags immediately after the upload data.

Registered mode (passive upload) : reader read Tags does not upload data, but waiting for a host
computer command frame to collect data.
Trigger mode (trigger upload) : reader read a Tag after 10 seconds for interval repeat upload this tag
data until received host response frame.
4、Tag Operation
EPC GEN2（ISO18000-6C）Tag
Single Tag initialization: custom tag of EPC length, generally for 96.
Single Tag: the Tag of EPC to write, every time to write an address or more address (in one
address for reference).
Single Tag lock, lock Tag of EPC. Lock, tag EPC will not be able to rewrite.
Single Tag destroyed: destroy Tag. Destroy, the Tag will not be able to be used.
5、Way of Working
Ⅰ COMMAND READ：In this mode, the reader in the PC or other controller under the control of the
work. Reading and writing device and control between machine through RS232 and RS485 or
one of the Ethernet interface for communication. This way of working support secondary SDK
provides full function.
Ⅱ TIMING READ：Reader to a certain period (configurable) automatic Tag read, read data through
the designated communication port output. The way of the operation of the Tag for read-only.
Ⅲ TRIGGER READ：When the trigger input ports input low electric at ordinary times, reader began
to periodic Tag read, after period of time automatically shut off.
6、Id adjacent Discrimination
Id adjacent Discrimination is to reduce the reader to upload data redundancy and design. Select the
function, when the reader has repeatedly read with a Tag number, just upload a set of data. Adjacent
discrimination can choose effective time, i.e., if the adjacent two Tag read time interval than the
effective time, is not going to them than the adjacent to. Users should choose according to the specific
needs. Commonly use in Wiegand.

speaking, reading and writing some distance, but install complex.

B、Height - adjustable and fixed reader
1 font floorstand side mount, asks to install reader installation stud diameter 25 ~ 35 mm, length of 2.2 m, it
is best to use the wall thickness more than 1.2 mm stainless steel materials. Use reader inside the box mad
fasteners the reader fixed on the top of the stud. According to the vehicle type (mainly refers to the large
car and small car) adjust reader center to lane horizontal plane height, general is 2.0 m (1.8 ~ 2.2 m).
L floorstand top loading, asks to install L stand upright (or gantry type) diameter sixty to 80 mm, rail
diameter 25 ~ 35 mm, it is best to use the wall thickness more than 1.2 ~ 2.0 mm stainless steel materials.
Also used in the packing mad fasteners reader fixed on the rail near the lane central position. The height of
the rail is apart from the ground vehicles need to adjust according to the height of 3.5 m to 4.0 m in
between.
