High Precision PFC LED Driver

General Description

QX9931 is a single-stage AC/DC PSR LED driver with high power factor. QX9931 can precisely control the output LED current without TL431 and optocoupler, so it need less external devices.

QX9931 works with the inductor’s discontinue conduction mode (DCM) while the frequency is fixed by a external resistor. And the output current can be under controlled with the internal precision current sample and estimate circuits.

The system of QX9931 is feedback by a voltage mode control. Through a stable fixed on time control it can get a good power factor control.

QX9931 integrates all the protection functions including the cycle-by-cycle current-limiting, over voltage protection, output-short protection, and thermal protection etc. So the IC can work reliably.
