Type of protection The motors have the type of protection EEx d IIC T4.
This means:
• Ex-protection as per EN 60079 -0 and EN 60079-1
• Registered under ATEX 94/9/EC
• Type of protection pressure-resistant encapsulation "d"
• Device group II
• Explosion group C
• Temperature class "T4" (135°C)
• Use in potentially explosive atmospheres of zones 1 and 2, device
category 2G (Gas)
• Tested thermistor monitoring devices are required for temperature
monitoring.
Approval All information is based exclusively on the ATEX design.
