Applications
1. The watt-hour meter can be installed for use after being certificated and sealed with lead print. If there’s no seal with lead print or too long storage time , the watt-hour meter can’t be used until the department concerned does the rechecking and sealing.
2. The watt-hour meter should be installed in a dry and ventilated place. The soleplate for installing the meter should be fixed in the wall that is stable, fireproof and hard to vibrate and the watt-hour meter should be about 1.8m from the ground.
3. Do the connection according to the wiring diagram, screw down the wiring bolt and fasten the plug board in terminal box.
4. The number of actual electrical energy must come from the displayed number via mutual inductor cut-in meter multiplying the voltage ratio.
5. “One watt-hour meter, one card”: All users’ cards can’t exchange with each other. Another card should be purchased at the power supply department (power-sale office) after the loss.
6. Preparations for purchasing power: Users should insert IC card into the holder one time so as to send the watt-hour meter data back to computer database.
7. Power-purchasing ways: During the process of power-sale, insert IC card into the reader-writer of IC cards while reading into IC card the enciphered information by computer: the user number, power quantity pre-purchased , way of restricting capacity and maximum power and so on.
8. Using power card: Insert power card into the holder. If the card is valid, the watt-hour meter will automatically show the data. The display of LCD will be in the order of : the power quantity purchased, the total power quantity purchased, the number of times the meter- card has been used , alarming quantity of electricity , limit of quantity of electricity on credit and frequency of restricting capacity . Ensure the safekeeping of the card after drawing it out.
9. Display when the watt-hour meter is electrified: full display, serial number, constant, version number version number ,total amount of electricity consumption, remnant power.
Working display: During the working process of watt-hour meter, remnant power, total amount of electricity consumption will be shown alternately in 5 seconds.
10. Switch-off when over maximum power: If the watt-hour meter is set to be switched off due to over maximum power. The watt-hour meter will be switched off for 3 minutes (before the power is restored) if the users has used power for 60 seconds under the condition of over maximum power. If the users insert the card into the watt-hour meter, the power can be restored at once.
11. Hoarding limit: If power quantity purchased+ remnant power ﹥hoarding limit, power quantity purchased won’t be read in .The power in the card will still be valid and users need to go to the power-sale department to have the power quantity rewritten.
12. Alert reminder: When the remnant power in the card is less than “the quantity of electricity to the limit of light alarms ”, “alarm light” will flash to remind users to purchase power.
13. Power failure warning: When remnant power is less than “the quantity of electricity to the limit of power- cut ” , power is cut to alarm users and “Power-cut ” prompt is shown. At this moment users insert IC card into the holder, the power will be recovered immediately and “alarming light” will be on all the time as a warning. If the power is allowed to be over-drafted after remnant power is used up, uses need to operate a switch after the overdrawn power is used up; otherwise, the switch-off will be operated automatically.
14. Malfunction report: When remnant power is displayed zero or a negative number, “Power-cut ” prompt will be shown. If watt-hour meter is sill working, users should purchase power at once and report this condition to power supply department.
