A continuous solid corrosion resisting chromium-nickel-molybdenum wire for welding of austenitic stainless alloys of 17% Cr, 12% Ni, 3% Mo type. OK Autrod 316H has a good general corrosion resistance. The alloy has a high carbon content which makes this alloy suitable for applications used at higher temperatures. The alloy is used in the chemical and food processing industries as well as for pipes, tubes and boilers.
