高效过滤器是无尘室洁净度得以维持的关键部件，所以高效过滤器的质量非常重要。其中最重要的就是它的简陋。方法比较多，有钠焰法，计数器扫描法，还有DOP检漏。
由高效过滤器下风侧泄漏浓度换算成的穿透率来衡量是否合格，其合格标准如下。因此，在安装好的净化空调系统中引入大气，是值得慎重思考的问题。因此，工程上检漏时会在高效过滤器得四周加放围挡，减小风口围挡下部出口面积时，围挡内形成一定正压。
