MTS位移传感器
MTS磁致伸缩位移传感器的高精度及可靠性已被成千上万的应用案例所印证。传感器利用非接触技术监测活动磁铁的位移,由于磁铁和传感器并无直接接触,因此传感器在极其恶劣的工业环境下,如易受油渍、溶液、尘埃或其他的污染,并不构成问题。此外,传感器更能承受高温、高压和高振荡的环境。
MTS位移传感器的输出信号为绝对数值,所以,即使电源中断也不会对信号接收造成问题,更不会重归零位。最后,由于敏感元件都是非接触式的,即使测量过程不断重复,也不会对传感器造成任何磨损,其磁致伸缩敏感元件的平均无故障时间为23年。
磁致伸缩工作原理
磁致伸缩指一些金属(如铁或镍),在磁场作用下具有伸缩能力,伸缩的效果是非常细微的。一般的镍铁合金是30ppm,但现在科学界已设计出更新的物质,将磁致伸缩的效果提升至1500ppm以上。
磁致伸缩的原理并不复杂,是利用两个不同的磁场相交时产生一个应变脉冲信号,然后计算这个信号被探测的时间周期,从而换算出准确的位置。这两个磁场一个来自活动磁铁,另一个来自传感器头的电子部件产生的电流脉冲。这个询问信号脉冲沿着传感器内以磁致伸缩材料制成的波导管,以声音的速度运行。当两个磁场相交时,波导管产生磁致伸缩现象,产生一个应变脉冲。这个返回信号脉冲很快被电子头的感测电路探测到。从产生询问信号的一刻到返回信号被探测到所需的时间周期乘以固定的声音速度,便能准确的计算出磁铁的位置变动。这个过程是连续不断的,所以每当活动磁铁被带动时,新的位置就会被很快的感测出来。
由于传感器的输出信号是一个绝对值,而不是比例的,也不需要再放大处理,所以不存在信号漂移或变值的情况,更不必定期重标。一般技述参数

MTS displacement sensor
The high precision and reliability of the MTS magnetostrictive displacement sensor have been proven by thousands of application cases. The sensor uses non-contact technology to monitor the displacement of the moving magnet. Since the magnet and the sensor are not in direct contact, the sensor does not pose a problem in extremely harsh industrial environments, such as being susceptible to oil, solution, dust or other contamination. The output signal of the MTS displacement sensor is an absolute value, so even if the power is interrupted, it will not cause problems in signal reception, and will not return to zero. Finally, since the sensitive components are non-contact, even if the measurement process is repeated, there is no wear on the sensor, and the average time between failure of the magnetostrictive sensor is 23 years.
Magnetostrictive working principle
Magnetostriction refers to some metals (such as iron or nickel) that have the ability to stretch under the action of a magnetic field. The effect of stretching is very subtle. The general nickel-iron alloy is 30 ppm, but now the scientific community has designed a newer material that will increase the magnetostrictive effect to more than 1500 ppm.
The principle of magnetostriction is not complicated. It is to generate a strain pulse signal when two different magnetic fields intersect, and then calculate the time period during which the signal is detected, so as to convert the accurate position. The two magnetic fields are from a moving magnet and the other is a current pulse generated by an electronic component of the sensor head. This interrogation signal pulse travels at a speed of sound along a waveguide made of magnetostrictive material within the sensor. When the two magnetic fields intersect, the waveguide produces magnetostriction, producing a strain pulse. This return signal pulse is quickly detected by the sensing circuit of the electronic head. The positional variation of the magnet can be accurately calculated from the moment the interrogation signal is generated until the return signal is detected for a desired period of time multiplied by a fixed sound velocity. This process is continuous, so every time the moving magnet is driven, the new position is quickly sensed.
Since the output signal of the sensor is an absolute value, not a proportional one, there is no need to re-amplify the processing, so there is no signal drift or variable value, and it is not necessary to periodically re-mark. General technical parameters
