OB6617 is an application-specific brushless DC motor (BLDC) controller system on chip (SOC), including three phases Level shift drivers, 12V~17V to 5V supply LDO with high precision voltage and maximum 100mA current, 51- compatible MCU processor, and motor driver current feedback amplifier and short circuit protection comparator. The IC is optimized for low cost, high-efficiency drive circuits in applications that use motors with high drive currents. It offers high supply voltage capability and a high degree of flexibility.

It’s easy to built BLDC control circuit with current loop and speed loop by using simple components. It provides large flexibility in adapting the OB6617 to a specific system requirement and simplify the system design.
