Startup Ceremony of "New Product Release of BYD Electronic Forklift and Launching Ceremony of National Marketing 2012" which host by BYD (Huizhou) Co., Ltd on June. 10th. Mr. Li Jianyou, Director of China National Construction Machinery Quality Supervising Test Centre, Mr. Zhao Yiming, General Manager of China Forklift Parent Company, Mr. Ma Renhong, Secretary-general of Guangdong Logistics Industry Association, Mr. Bi Guozhong, General Manager of BYD Company Limited Forklift Department attended the Startup Ceremony. Morn than 30 media partners witnessed this ceremony.
After two-year's research and production, BYD firstly showed their new electric forklifts at our exhibition site, unclosing the mysterious veil of their forklift products to the customers. As a leading company in the field of rechargeable batteries, BYD Company stays as the No. 1 enterprise in terms of battery technology and industrial scale in the whole world. The battery technology mastered by BYD is called iron battery. Relying on the state-of-art iron battery technology, BYD entered electric forklift industry in 2009, with investment of RMB 200 million Yuan. After three-year's preparation and technological development, the first phase of project had been built up in Huizhou Industrial Park, and it had become a production base for electric forklifts with annual production amount reaching 2, 000 sets.
