PVDF涂覆隔膜是在传统的聚烯烃隔膜基础上，经过特殊工艺处理表面涂覆一层多孔状的PVDF材料。经热压后，PVDF涂覆层可以与锂离子电池油性正负极极片中的粘合剂紧密结合，在高温下与电解液结合成为稳定的凝胶质导电聚合物，显著提高锂离子电池的性能。
