   石英砂是一种坚硬、耐磨、化学性能稳定的硅酸盐矿物，其主要矿物成分是SiO2 ，石英砂的颜色为乳白色或无色半透明状，硬度7，性脆无解理，贝壳状断口，油脂光泽，密度为2.65g/cm3，堆积密度1-20目为1.6g/cm3，20-200目为1.5g/cm3，其化学、热学和机械性能具有明显的异向性，不溶于酸，微溶于KOH溶液，熔点1750℃。广泛用于玻璃、铸造、陶瓷及耐火材料、冶炼硅铁、冶金熔剂、冶金、建筑、化工、塑料、橡胶、磨料等工业。

石英砂包装和贮存：
  石英砂滤料为编织袋包装，每袋重50KG,25KG或吨袋。 石英砂滤料不宜与承托料及其它滤料一起堆放。 石英砂滤料和其它滤料不宜与其它有毒有害物品个污染物品一起堆放。不能漏天存放,防尘防污染存放,一般质保期为十年.
