Klüberalfa BH 83-292
High-temperature and long-term lubricating grease
for rolling bearings

Description
Klüberalfa BH 83-292 is a hightemperature
and long-term
lubricating grease based on a PTFE
thickener and a special high
viscosity index perfluorinated
polyether oil. This grease can be
used in an extremely wide service
temperature range* from
–60 °C to 270 °C.

Application
Klüberalfa BH 83-292 has been
especially designed for the
lubrication of rolling bearings subject
to high temperatures and for
applications requiring a high base oil
viscosity when exposed to high
operating temperatures.
Klüberalfa BH 83-292 can also be
used for low-temperature
applications.

Compatibility with elastomers and
plastics
Lubricating greases based on
polyether oils and PTFE are neutral
towards most elastomers and
plastics (with the exception of
perfluorinated rubber) however,
compatibility with the materials in
contact should be tested prior to
series application.

Application notes
For optimum results we recommend
cleaning all friction points with white
spirit 180/210 and then with
Klüberalfa XZ 3. Thereafter the
surfaces should be dried using clean
dry, compressed air, or hot air, in
order to remove all white spirit
residues, prior to initial lubrication.
All application points should bebright (i.e. free of oils, greases,
perspiration and contaminants).

Minimum shelf life
The minimum shelf life is approx. 60
months if the product is stored in its
closed original container in a dry
place.
