沸石滤料主要有斜发沸石和活化沸石两种。斜发沸石是铝硅酸盐类矿物，外观呈白色或砖红色，属弱酸性阳离子交换剂，经人工导入活性组分，使其具有新的离子交换或吸附能力，吸附容量也相应增大。它是一种架状结构的多孔穴和通道的硅铝酸盐，表面粗糙，比表面积大，有良好的吸附、交换性能，是一种天然轻质滤料。

沸石使用注意事项：
1．要按用途选用沸石粉的规格，如用于水质改良应使用180目至200目的规格.
2．质量好的沸石粉,天然沸石含量应达到50%以上.
3．吸氨值是沸石粉的一个重要的质量指标，合格的沸石粉吸氨值一般都大于100mg当量/100g.
4.每亩每米水深使用沸石粉25-50公斤,可起到除去水中95%氨氮,净化水质增加溶氧的作用,同时提高水体总碱度,稳定水质。
